On February 3, 2023, the Office of Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance organized a VCU EdPEx Workshop “A Guide for Development and Implementation towards Performance Excellence.” The overall purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum for all Value Contribution Units to build on and enhance their performance excellence and to help all units get started in developing a systematic approach for each EdPEx category. The event was held at the Seminar Room, de Montfort Hall, Hua Mak Campus with an opening remark by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of the University. In this event, Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dr. Vindhai Cocracul, Vice President for Academic Affairs honorably joined the workshop showing their leaderships and supports.

Directors and staff are altogether 80 participants from 14 units attending the workshop. Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Chair of Assumption University Performance Excellence Committee, and Dr. Yupawadee Horpitakwong, Director of Office of Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance and a member of the committee, led the workshop to give a basic knowledge and examples of seven categories in the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) framework. All units engaged in the workshop by having a short group discussion of each EdPEx category and sharing their existing governance and work system. At the end, Dr. Vindhai Cocracul, gave a closing remark with an expectation that all units can apply the knowledge from the workshop to improve their services and get started a Self-Assessment Report (SAR) writing under EdPEx criteria.
