The AU Risk Management Policy requires all academic units, support units and the University to develop their risk management plan, implement the plan and assess the risks every year. These include the identification of risks and risk factors that may cause damage to its units and/or university in terms of reputation, education quality, loss of personnel's lives and the properties.

Objectives

  1. To reduce the likelihood of potential risks and minimize the risk factors and the loss or cost incurred by threats or uncertainties to the acceptable level that can be controlled and monitored.
  2. To optimize performance of the functions and operations of various schools and support units to achieve the missions, strategic goals and objectives of the University.
